How Can You Take Part?

Are you an early career healthcare professional passionate about spine care? Here’s how you can get involved—and potentially receive support to attend.

About the Event Grant

EUROSPINE offers 20 Early Career Grants to support early career professionals who wish to join the SPINE360 community and participate in the exclusive career & networking event and dedicated early career sessions at the Annual Meeting, with funding up to €1,000 per person. The grant helps cover the registration fee, EUROSPINE Party ticket, and costs associated with attending the event, ensuring greater accessibility for eligible applicants.
Grants are open to both EUROSPINE members and non-members worldwide.

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Open to residents and health care professionals passionate about spine with a maximum of three years of professional experience in spine care.
  • Female and non-surgical professionals are especially encouraged to apply.
  • Applications are open worldwide.
  • EUROSPINE membership is not required, but becoming a member is strongly encouraged.
  • Past recipients of the EUROSPINE Early Career Grant are not eligible to reapply.

Participation Requirements

  • Applicants must commit to actively participate in the EUROSPINE Annual Meeting, including all SPINE360 session, and the EUROSPINE Party.
  • If you are not yet registered for EUROSPINE 2026: By applying for the EUROSPINE Early Career Grant 2026, you confirm that your attendance has been approved by your institution (e.g. supervisor, department head) and that you will complete your registration within one week of receiving the grant confirmation latest in August. If this condition is not met, the grant will not be allocated.
  • Approved costs will be reimbursed after the Annual Meeting.

Your Journey Will Inspire Others

As part of the SPINE360 community, selected participants may be asked to document and share key moments of their experience during and after the programme. This may include:

  • Short written reflections
  • Interviews
  • Photo or video content

The EUROSPINE Marketing & Communications Team will provide support and coordinate materials to be shared across EUROSPINE channels. Your story will help showcase your Annual Meeting experience and motivate others to become part of SPINE360, the EUROSPINE early career community.

What Happens Next?

  • You will receive a confirmation email upon submission.
  • Applications will be reviewed by representatives from the Community & Leadership Council and the Early Career Task Force.
  • Selected participants will be notified in August 2026 at the latest.
