EUROSPINE, the Spine Society of Europe

Annual Meeting 2023

Celebrating 25 Years of EUROSPINE

On 26 June 2023, we celebrated EUROSPINE's 25th anniversary, which was founded on this day in 1998 in Innsbruck, Austria through the merger of the European Spine Society (ESS) and the European Spinal Deformity Society (ESDS). EUROSPINE had become a leading organization for spine specialists, dedicated to advancing education, research, and collaboration in spine care.

With an unwavering commitment to excellence, EUROSPINE led the way in healthcare advancements, benefiting both professionals and patients. In light of this milestone, we invited everyone to join us at the EUROSPINE Annual Meeting in early October in Frankfurt, where we celebrated this achievement and explored the latest advancements in spine care. Let's unite, shape the future of spine care, and nurture connections that will drive ongoing innovation in our field.

Reflecting on the events of the past two and a half decades, the Brain and Spine Journal features an insightful article authored by key figures including Frank Kandziora, Local Hosts for the EUROSPINE Annual Meeting in Frankfurt, and Marco Teli as the current Past President of EUROSPINE.
