EUROSPINE Charity Run 2026

A 5km run through Gothenburg — before the day begins, and for a cause worth running for.

The EUROSPINE Charity Run returns in 2026 as a side event of the Annual Meeting in Gothenburg. Taking place before the congress day begins, it is an opportunity to move, connect, and contribute — with every Euro raised going directly to the EUROSPINE Early Career Development Pathway Fund, which supports the advancement of knowledge in spinal disorders with a particular focus on early-career professionals.

This is a non-competitive, social run. There is no timekeeping — just 5 kilometres, good company, and a genuinely worthwhile reason to get up early.

Who?

The run is open to all Annual Meeting delegates. Each participant is welcome to bring a guest — friends and family are encouraged to join. No competitive experience required; this is a training run at a relaxed pace, designed as much for networking as for fitness.

Every registration fee goes directly to the EUROSPINE Early Career Development Pathway Fund — supporting spinal education, research, and the next generation of spine professionals.

How to register?
A congress registration is required to take part in the run.
All delegates are welcome to register their friends and family who would like to join the run in Gothenburg.
