EUROSPINE 2026

The leading European congress for spine surgery and spinal care

7-9 October 2026 I Gothia Towers, Svenska Mässan, Gothenburg

Welcome from the EUROSPINE President

I am delighted to invite you to join us for the EUROSPINE Annual Meeting in Gothenburg, 7–9 October 2026. Building on the momentum of EUROSPINE 2025 in Copenhagen, we are committed to delivering a rich scientific and educational experience that advances spine care across disciplines.

Gothenburg—home to a vibrant life-science ecosystem and a strong culture of collaboration—offers an ideal setting for meaningful exchange, innovation, and community building. In 2026, our programme will engage, challenge, and inspire, with cutting-edge research, practical education, and new opportunities for collaboration across the entire spine community.

Thanks to our members, delegates, partners, and volunteers, EUROSPINE continues to grow in reach and impact. Together, we will create a dynamic environment where science, clinical practice, and innovation come together to shape the future of spine care.

My sincere thanks go to our committees, stakeholders, EUROSPINE staff, and our local hosts—Helena Brisby and Adad Baranto—whose dedication makes this meeting possible. We look forward to welcoming you to Gothenburg for EUROSPINE 2026.

Welcome to Gothenburg

We are delighted to welcome you to Gothenburg for the EUROSPINE Annual Meeting 2026.

Gothenburg is a welcoming, walkable city with a strong life-science community and a hands-on, collaborative spirit. With Sahlgrenska University Hospital and the University of Gothenburg close by, it’s a natural home for a meeting that combines high-quality science with practical education and skills you can take straight back to clinic.

Our programme blends the essentials—clear, well-structured education, case-based learning, and masterclasses—with forward-looking sessions on AI, robotics, minimally invasive techniques, and data-driven quality improvement. Expect concise plenaries, interactive discussions, and a dedicated pathway for early-career colleagues, all designed to support everyday decision-making and long-term professional growth.

Gothenburg is also simply a great place to visit: a lively waterfront, easy public transport, and a renowned food scene with local, seasonal ingredients. Sustainability is built into the experience—a digital-first congress, reduced single-use materials on site, and partners who share our eco focus—so your footprint stays light while your learning impact is high.

We look forward to welcoming you to our city—and to a memorable EUROSPINE 2026.

Warm regards,

Helena Brisby & Adad Baranto
