EUROSPINE 2026

The leading European congress for spine surgery and spinal care

7-9 October 2026 I Gothia Towers, Svenska Mässan, Gothenburg

EUROSPINE 2026 brings together science, education, and clinical practice in one integrated spine meeting.

The EUROSPINE Annual Meeting 2026 is designed to reflect the realities of modern spine care. Scientific discovery, expert education, practical discussion, and multidisciplinary exchange are not treated as separate elements, but combined into one coherent programme that delivers meaningful input for daily clinical practice.

The result is a meeting experience that offers depth for specialists, relevance across disciplines, and clear value for delegates looking to learn, connect, and return to practice with fresh perspective.

Modern spine care rarely fits into a single specialty. At EUROSPINE 2026, multidisciplinary perspectives are built into the programme through formats that connect surgery with biology, frailty, nutrition, imaging, rehabilitation, anaesthesia, oncology, technology, and patient-centred decision-making.

Across the Aging Spine programme, frailty-focused sessions, multidisciplinary tumour care, and the cross-disciplinary Spine Meets formats, delegates gain insight into the wider factors that shape outcomes in real-world practice.

  • Integrated scientific and clinical programme
  • Strong focus on real-world spine practice
  • Multidisciplinary perspectives across all sessions

Programme Highlights

What to Expect at EUROSPINE 2026

Three days of focused spine surgery education, scientific debate, and multidisciplinary exchange in Gothenburg. The 2026 programme brings together Masterclasses, Case Discussions, Lunch Symposia, Breakfast Clubs, the new Spine Meets series, and the Audience Favourite Debates — each designed to connect new evidence directly to clinical practice.

New at EUROSPINE 2026

This year's meeting introduces Spine Meets — a cross-disciplinary format that connects spine surgery with mechanobiology and elite sports medicine. A new Case Discussion format, 'The Case that fooled us', explores the clinical value of cases that didn't follow the expected path. Both formats reflect EUROSPINE's commitment to making the annual meeting more than a standard scientific congress.

Where a Global Spine Community Gathers

EUROSPINE 2026 is more than a congress. It is where the spine community from Europe and beyond gathers to debate, learn, and reconnect. With record attendance in 2025 and a programme built around both scientific rigour and community energy, Gothenburg in October is where your professional year takes shape — whether you are a resident finding your footing or a senior surgeon staying at the forefront of the field.

Community & Networking

EUROSPINE 2026 creates dedicated space for the professional connections that matter. A themed networking evening brings the community together in a setting designed for genuine exchange, and the EUROSPINE booth serves as a meeting point throughout the three days — where colleagues reconnect, conversations continue, and new collaborations begin.
