As last year's congress in Geneva showed once again, the SGS is the society where all surgeons interested in spine meet, and in the future it will be the crucible and the body for certified spine specialists to connect with the spine society in Europe and around the world. SGS 2023 will be held in the heart of Switzerland, in Visp, Valais. The town is well connected by rail and road and offers ample space for exhibitors. As is already a good tradition, we will have internationally renowned experts giving key lectures, we will discuss current topics in the daily work of spine specialists and will undoubtedly attract every Swiss spine surgeon as well as colleagues from abroad. The SGS links the specialties involved in spine surgery and develops the guidelines in close exchange with the EUROSPINE, the Spine Society of Europe.
