Applications are open for the EUROSPINE-JSSR Travelling Fellowship Programme 2026, a collaborative initiative between EUROSPINE and the Japanese Society for Spine Surgery and Related Research (JSSR). The programme supports continuing education and international exchange for spine surgeons through structured visits to leading spine centres in Europe and Japan.
The fellowship awards two EUROSPINE members and two JSSR members a grant of up to 10,000 euros each, including complimentary registration to the JSSR Annual Meeting. In April 2026, selected EUROSPINE fellows will travel to Japan for two to three weeks, starting with attendance at the JSSR Annual Meeting in Fukuoka from 16 to 18 April 2026, followed by visits to two to three spine centres.
The programme aims to enhance clinical expertise, promote collaboration between European and Japanese spine communities, and support global knowledge exchange in spine care.
