In 2021, HICREN partnered with the European surgical robotics company INS to establish Sino-Europe MicroRobotics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (SEMR). In 2024, HICREN and SEMR jointly developed the Intelligent Digital Ecosystem of Advanced Spinal Surgical Solutions (IDEAS³).
