About the Event Grant

EUROSPINE offers 20 Early Career Grants to support Early Career professionals who wish to participate in the exclusive Early Career Event (SPINE360) at the Annual Meeting, with funding up to €1,000 per person. The grant helps cover the registration fee, Congress Evening ticket, and costs associated with attending the event, ensuring greater accessibility for eligible applicants.
Grants are open to both EUROSPINE members and non-members worldwide.

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Open to residents and consultants passionate about spine with a maximum of five years of professional experience in spine care.
  • Female and non-surgical professionals are especially encouraged to apply.
  • Applications are open worldwide.
  • EUROSPINE membership is not required, but becoming a member is strongly encouraged.

Participation Requirements

  • Applicants must commit to actively participate in the EUROSPINE Annual Meeting, including the Early Career Event, the Member’s Cocktail, and the Congress Evening.
  • If you are not yet registered for EUROSPINE 2025: By applying for the EUROSPINE 2025 Early Career Grant, you confirm that your attendance has been approved by your institution (e.g. supervisor, department head) and that you will complete your registration within one week of receiving the grant confirmation in September. If this condition is not met, the grant will not be allocated.
  • Approved costs will be reimbursed after the Annual Meeting.

Your Journey Will Inspire Others

As part of the Early Career Event, selected participants will be asked to document and share key moments of their experience during and after the programme. This may include:

  • Short written reflections
  • Interviews
  • Photo or video content

The EUROSPINE Marketing & Communications Team will provide support and coordinate materials to be shared across EUROSPINE channels. Your story will help showcase your Annual Meeting experience and motivate others to become part of the EUROSPINE Early Career Community.

Required Documents & Questions

Please include the following:

- Your final (or expected) year of residency

- Your CV

- Your answers to the following three short questions:

1. What’s one challenge Early Career spine professionals face today that you hope will be solved in five years?

2. Why is it important to have a dedicated session for Early Career professionals at the Annual Meeting?

3. Why should your application be selected?

Important to Consider When Applying

By submitting your application, you acknowledge and agree that certain application-related information may be shared with the Copenhagen Convention Bureau solely for the purpose of facilitating and administering the Event Grant. All data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.

What Happens Next?

  • You will receive a confirmation email upon submission.
  • Applications will be reviewed by representatives from the Community & Leadership Council and the Early Career Task Force.
  • Selected participants will be notified after 10 September 2025.
  • Please note: Only applications submitted between 1–31 August 2025 will be considered.
