4S is a non-profit organisation formed in 1995 for Sweden's spinal surgeons. The association's main goal is good spinal surgery care in Sweden. The goal is achieved by promoting good education and research in the field of spinal surgery, and by disseminating sound treatment principles based on evidence-based medicine.
