EUROSPINE announces appointment of new Director of Sponsoring and Donations

EUROSPINE is pleased to announce the appointment of Marina Fernández Chamorro as Director of Sponsoring and Donations. Marina has a university degree in business administration and more than 10 years of experience as agency director and manager of the headquarter of a multicultural event organising agency.

Marina brings to EUROSPINE additional knowledge from her work for different multinational companies such as PWC and Peugeot in different parts of the world. She is based in Berlin and a fluent speaker in Spanish, German, English, French and Portuguese.
With that background Marina is best positioned to take over newly defined tasks in the area of donations and sponsoring that go beyond the existing sponsoring activities which are just related to our meeting and education activities. For the next six months Marina has a clear project related focus which is the development of a specific sponsoring concept for our grant research process as well as evaluating the options for reactivating the EUROSPINE Foundation.

Marina has started her work with EUROSPINE on 9 March 2022. She will closely cooperate with Juergen Meier and Julie-Lyn Noel, our two other directors being responsible for Meetings respective Education and will report directly to Everard Munting, Past President and Beat Leimbacher, Delegate of the ExCom.

EUROSPINE is delighted to have attracted someone as experienced as Marina to widen our sponsoring and donation activities – clearly going beyond the spine community. This will be a key task to further pursue our mission and vision to be the leading provider of best practice services to patients and the spine community across the world.
