The EANS Advanced Course in Spinal Surgery is a two-part course with Part I: Extended Indications and Advanced Operative Techniques taking place in 2019 and Part II: Revisions and Complication Management in Geneva in 2020.
The course employs various teaching methods including plenary lectures, interactive case discussion and round tables, and dry lab hands-on workshops.
The target audience is: recently qualified neurosurgeons and neurosurgeons specialised in spinal neurosurgery as well as orthopaedics surgeons interested in spinal procedures; last year residents are also welcome to attend.
This is a unique international course giving participants the opportunity for informal debate with their peers as well as with the teaching faculty who are internationally recognized speakers from various European countries.
