Overview
After having completed the EUROSPINE Diploma courses, take a step further towards optaining the EUROSPINE Advanced Diploma by attending the advanced courses.You will get the opportunity to hear from renowned surgeons surgical pearls, notions and future trends in state of the art spine surgery. The advanced course consists of 2 Modules focusing on extended indications and advanced operative techniques (Advanced Module 1) and revisions and complications management (Advanced Module 2).
Take part in interactive sessions with concrete and challenging case discussions. This is a very unique opportunity!
Course format and design
This is a blended learning course (eLearning lectures and live educational event) composed of 2 modules, interactive sessions - case based discussions, and skills workshops.The modules include pre-learning and assessments. The number of hours of personal study vary per module.

E-learning Component (Asynchronous)
Accessibility of e-learning modules: 1 April 2022Only participants who have paid the registration will be given access to the online component. Participants can take these modules at their own pace, but are advised to complete their e-learning modules prior to the live components.

Participants are required to book and pay for their travel and accommodation themselves. This is not included in the registration fee.
Accompanying persons:
There are no accompanying persons fees nor accompanying persons programme during this course.
Members' Discount
Please note that, if you already are a EUROSPINE member and wish to take advantage of the EUROSPINE member discount when registering for the course, you must ensure you have settled your 2022 membership fee before starting your course registration. This can be done through your online user profile
Please note that we cannot reimburse the difference between the non-member and member's registration fee if a member registers at the non-member's rate.

Registrations are open to confirmed spine specialists who have completed the EUROSPINE Diploma or are already practicing for at least 2 years. A proof of eligibility to attend the Advanced Courses will be requested upon registration (a copy of the EUROSPINE Diploma, or a recommendation letter proving practice of more than 2 years, or a copy of your CV).

Obtaining the EUROSPINE Advanced Diploma: IMPORTANT NOTE!

3. Complete a 6-months fellowship, formally validated by the EUROSPINE through the separate fellowship validation process
All three requirements must be fulfilled.
CME Accreditation and Compliance
Accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) is pending.Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/education/earn-credit-participation-international-activities.
Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
