Having the opportunity to listen to the perspectives of different professional groups really enhanced my understanding of the importance of an interdisciplinary approach in spine care practice.

Empowering Perspectives: Testimonials from EDISC Participants

Participants found EDISC useful and enthusiastically recommended it to colleagues and friends.

Participants about Module 5: The aging patient seeking spine care

Excellent module, excellent speakers, very relevant to my practise and I learned loads. Thank you.

Actually, it was a great session that cover important conditions in the geriatric population that we deal with frequently, and the most important things were the tips and tricks from the presenter's experiences and the different views of the participants for the case discussion.

Just excellent. Since we are near to completion, I wish to request you to plan another similar online diploma course e.g on management of spine trauma or maybe surgical techniques. Again thanks for the bursary which makes it possible for many to attend such activities.

Will you implement the learnings from Module 4 Assessment, diagnosis and management of spinal pain?

Module 3: Communication and consultation skills - core skills 3

In the participants' evaluation of the module, three aspects emerged as particularly valuable:

  • the engaging group discussions
  • the interactive breakout rooms and synthesis activities
  • and the immersive role-play sessions.

These elements fostered meaningful engagement, collaboration and skill development, enriching the overall learning experience.

 Participants testimonials

All aspects of this module has been beneficial from the pre-live session learning, to the discussions, the role-playing and interactions. The topics have been extremely informative and useful to me and will be extremely beneficial in bringing about the required change to my daily practice and communication skills.

In EDISC Module 2,

many participants were professionals - physiotherapists, chiropractors and surgeons specialising in orthopaedics, neurology or spine. This diverse group, mainly in their 30s and 40s, showed initiative, with around 75% enrolling independently. Remarkably, an astonishing 90% of these individuals said they would be very likely to recommend the module to their friends, highlighting their high level of satisfaction and endorsement.

Group discussions faculty were alert and responded promptly to questions and comments presentation was smooth running relaxed environment.

Organization Time bound Sessions was excellent in terms of materials and faculty.

Sharing of experiences in IPC among different countries and clinical settings (primary care, secondary care, etc).

Participants in Module 1 acknowledged that the content met the heightened expectations of the event's title.
