OverviewThis course is composed of five modules providing young surgeons with a reference based, standardized curriculum in degenerative challenges, spinal deformities, trauma, tumors & inflammatory disease which will support them in their clinical practice. Through lectures participants will have learning outcomes based on science that can be used in critical decision making.
Target AudienceSenior trainees and trained surgeons, who are planning a career in spinal surgery.

Course format and designThis is a live educational event composed of 5 modules where there will be blended learning of lectures, interactive sessions - case based discussions, plenary sessions and cadaver lab workshops.
Not all 5 modules can be taken at once. A maximum of 3 modules can be attended during one Education Week as modules overlap. There is no particular order in which to take the modules. It is however recommended, whenever possible, to take Module 1 - Basic Comprehensive Course in the first year.

2018 FeesModule 1: 300 Euros for Members, 400 Euros for Non-members
Modules 2-5: 800 Euros for Members, 1000 Euros for Non-members
CME Accreditation and ComplianceAll modules of the 2018 Education Week were accredited by the EACCME (European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education). Participation in the whole module is mandatory as well as the completion of the course assessment in order to receive the CME certificate.
The 2018 Education Week was also reviewed by and found to be fully compliant by EthicalMedTech: www.ethicalmedtech.eu/medtech-apps/cvs/view-event/EMT10003.
Applications to EACCME and Ethical MedTech for 2019 Education Week is pending (programmes to be finalised).
