Module 4 Learning Outcomes

At the conclusion of this course the participant should be able to:

  • Evaluate and interpret direct X rays, CT, and MRI in spinal trauma
  • Classify trauma of C0-2, subaxial C-spine, TL-spine and sacrum
  • Describe surgical indications and conservative treatment methods of trauma at different levels including C0-2, subaxial C, TL and sacral
  • List special features of different conditions including AS, osteoporosis and immature spine.
  • Define how to prevent complications in spinal trauma
