Membership officer
New position designed to strengthen the membership service of our Society

Work type: permanent
Start: immediately
Salary: upon negociation
Work place: flexible, the headquarter is in Zurich/Switzerland
Hours: to start with 50 % , upgradable to 100 % within two years

Function and main tasks

Responsible for all administrative and recording systems and processes for new and existing members, including recruitment and renewal:
  • direct contact with the members of EuroSpine (spine specialists, mostly based in Europe)
  • handling of membership enquiries and subscriptions
  • maintain information sources relating to members accurate and updated
  • Invoicing and fee payment processing
  • assist Membership Committee in the strategic development of the membership scheme and service
  • Provide assistance in the production of event bookings
  • contact and coordinate data with national spine societies

Qualifications / Job requirements

  • Good PC knowledge
  • Fluent (verbal and written) in English, other languages are beneficial
  • Apprenticeship in business administration (or equal), 2+ years office experience
  • Willingness to attend meetings and travel within Europe
  • Flexibility and autonomous work approach, ability to work in a small team
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Able to communicate with members and Committees
