Based on data from past meetings, EuroSpine now has approximately 1600 participants, total attendance (incl accompanying persons and from exhibiting industry) around 3000 persons, a 2500 m2 exhibition space requirement, and several satellite events. Therefore, the candidature for future meetings must satisfy several basic requirements related to the facilities, which are summarized below.
The next year to apply to host an EuroSpine meeting is 2014.

Applications must arrive six years in advance, before the Executive Commmitee meeting (end January). They will have to be approved by the Executive Commmitee for final ratification, voted on at the EuroSpine General Assembly five years in advance.
Applications must include the completed Site Application document with the sample budget. Applications will be evaluated by the ES site committee.
