EuroSpine Awards

In order to encourage research in the field of spinal disorders, the Spine Society of Europe will award several prizes which will be presented at the EuroSpine 2010 meeting and published in the European Spine Journal.

EuroSpine Full Paper Award 10.000 EUR

The award will be chosen either:

out of the seven best abstract submissions for the 2011 EuroSpine meeting full papers, to be submitted to info@eurospine.org (e-version, pdf) deadline March 15

From submitted abstracts: The authors of the selected abstracts will be informed after the Meeting of the Program Committee end of May: they will be invited to submit a full paper manuscript until August 1st.
Full paper Submission: the paper has to be written according to the guidelines of the European Spine Journal. The manuscript must be in English and the material has to be original and not previously published or submitted for publication. At least one author of the winning paper must attend at his/her own expense EuroSpine 2011 which is being held in Milan, Italy from October 19-21, to present the paper and receive the award.

Besides of receiving the award, the winning paper goes into the first issue of the following year's European Spine Journal. The remaining award submissions selected from abstracts receive a special treatment for accelerated publication in the ESJ.

Conditions:

the paper should aim to promote best practice in the management of spinal conditions it should report clinical research with a clear impact on daily practice at least one of the authors should be an EuroSpine member or candidate member.
