Diploma Equivalence with Germany (DWG)

EUROSPINE, the Spine Society of Europe and the German Spine Society (DWG) agrees to a Partnership for diploma equivalence related to the European Spine Course Diploma (ESCD).

Who is eligible for Diploma Equivalency?

  • Validated graduates of the German (DWG) basic diploma may apply for the European Spine Course Diploma (ESCD).
  • Any holder of the the ESCD may apply for the German (DWG) basic diploma on the competition of German (DWG) Module 6. Please contact the DWG for further information on how to apply.

What is needed to apply for the European Spine Course Diploma?

1. The applicant must be a graduate of the German DWG basic diploma and be listed as a "graduate" on the DWG diploma list as well as provide a copy of the diploma certificate.
2. The applicant must submit their full name as it appears on the DWG diploma.
3. The applicant must pay 100 Euros administrative fee to EUROSPINE. The payment must be received before the ESCD can be issued.
4. The applicant must provide the correct contact details.
